Why I am Solidly Behind ASUU Strikes.

If you can notice any infrastructural Development in Nigerian public Universities today, it is because of the  continuous ASUU pressure. For instance, our own Joseph Sarwuan Tarkaa University formerly, University of Agriculture Makurdi and the Benue State University respectively  were  more of a village secondary school. The  released of these funds under duress by the federal government  as a result of ASUU strikes over the years  has change the faces of these universities infrastructuraly. ASUU remains among "fewer"unions in Nigeria that can "notoriously but reasonable knock the government on her balehead." If not, public universities would have suffered the same chaotic and dilapidated fate faced by public secondary and primary schools.  ASUU is the only union in Nigeria that seems to have all the answers to the the unending lies, deceit, insincerity and cunning attitude of our leaders. Their efforts to create division within ASUU ...

The Consequences Of Political Decisions

Mama Gajir has put a capital full stop to the Blood Daylight Robbery on  Gboko-Ihugh road by those thugs in the name of "Revenue Collection Checkpoints." Before she became the Local Government Chairman, the road was hell for everybody but most especially businessmen. It is not an exaggeration, they were nearly twelve (12) Revenue Checkpoints in Ushongu Local Government between her boundaries with Gboko and Vandeikya Local Governments. Ihugh and Lessel  markets were worst hit as buyers refused to attend the markets for fear of brutality and exploitation on the road.  Gboko Local Government Chairman after  several consultations has ordered the sell of sachet  water for ten (10) naira as usual in Gboko township. 2023 election is edging closer to our doorsteps. Political decisions determine the kind of society that exist and will exist in the future. It determines the quality of life the society lives. Your vote is the determining factor. Cas...
