FR. ALIA CONGRATULATES MONSIGNOR Isaac Dugu ON HIS EPISCOPAL ORDINATION AND INSTALLATION AS BISHOP OF KATSINA-ALA DIOCESE.


The APC Candidate for the 2023 gubernatorial election in Benue State Rev Fr Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia has joined the Catholic community in Benue State in congratulating and welcoming Monsignor Isaac Bundepuun Dugu as the new Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Katsina-Ala.

Fr. Alia described Monsignor Isaac Bundepuun Dugu as a man of deep faith and personal integrity who is passionate about maintaining a strong connection between the people and the Church.

He acknowledged his compassion and devotion to those in need, pointing out that the new Bishop has a particular gift for clearly articulating in a charitable and compelling manner, the beauty cof the Catholic Faith and its relationship to the challenges and opportunities we face today.
 
Fr. Alia added that the appointment of Monsignor Isaac Bundepuun Dugu constitutes a wonderful moment of grace for the Catholic Diocese of Katsina-Ala, especially now that the diocese is setting pace in leadership and management of  insecurity challenges in the area.

He expressed delight that with the installation of a new Bishop who is already conversant with the area, all the remarkable initiatives and energy that the Late Bishop Adoboh and Bishop Avenya put in the diocese will witness a ring of continuity.

The APC candidate finally expressed certainty that the leadership of the new Bishop will bear much fruits in the Catholic Diocese of Katsina-Ala, even as he congratulated him and wished him a successful espiscopal ministry in the dioceses.

Benue Born Catholic Priest Killed by Fulani Terrorists Buried Amist Tears and Protest in Kaduna

The victim,  who until his death was the Chaplain of the Catholic Community at Kaduna Polytechnic, was killed on his farm at Kujama in Chikun Local Government Area of the state. At the event held at the Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church, the Archbishop of Kaduna Archdiocese most Reverend Mathew Ndagoso lamented the rising insecurity in the country. The Archbishop expressed a deep sober concern that Nigeria has become a failed state where the killing of innocent souls is rather been  celebrated with impunity. The Arch clergy blamed the federal government for her docile and conspiracy of silence  about the killings of Christians and incessant attacks on the church in Nigeria. He pledged Christians to remained  steadfast and Prayerful in the face of persecution saying, the battle is of the lord alone who is the creator of all.
