A Benue emerging tomato farmer Barnabas Akaazua has promise to commit part of his business proceeds for humanitrian service. The young mechanised farmer who recently became a centre of discourse in the state disclosed in a post on his Facebook handle that between 1st October 2022 and 24th December 2022, for every crate of tomatoes sold, the sum of NGN200 will go to orphans and NGN 100 will be used to buy sanitary pads for teenage girls.
According to him, presentations will be done on the 26th of December 2022.
Whatever is raised will be supported by Akaazua-Barnabas Foundation. He urged the general public to suggest orphanages and teenage girl groups and to also support his business and the initiative by purchasing more from his company
